Would it be possible to downgrade from iOS 7 to iOS 6.1 like iOS 6.1.0 on iPhone 4 CDMA? If yes, than could someone please tell me how with the steps I would need to take?

seeing as you need to ask, you most likely did not manually save your 6.1 blobs which means no

download the latest version of ifaith and check if cydia has any ios 6.x blobs for you. if yes, download them and let them check if they're complete or not

if they're not valid, you cannot use those blobs

Those blobs has been sitting in front of me on my desktop, so yes, I have them.

They should be. It was when I was on iOS 6.1 and I used iFaith to dump the blobs.

if you used ifaith to dump the blobs, then they'll be fine. just make a custom ipsw using ifaith and stitch the blobs

then put the iphone 4 into pwned DFU mode and then shift + click restore in itunes

choose the ipsw ifaith made and you'll be restored to 6.1 once the process is completed

Thank you! What version of iTunes? The older versions of iTunes I don't recall what version and it gives an error saying I need to be on iTunes version 11.1 or later.

you need to use 11.0.5 or earlier to do custom restores. put the device into pwned DFU first before you run itunes

Could you please link me to the older evasi0n untethered jailbreak tool in particular iOS 6-6.1 for windows? I think it was 6-6.1. It was the one right before iOS 7 came out and it was on evasi0n.com

I just looked at my blobs on iFaith. I've been Jb since the iphone4 came out and blobs were saved straight to Cydia then.
Few months ago I used iFaith to save the blobs, now I'm trying to find them on Cydia but it says I don't have any available blobs. I already have them saved onto my computer? I'm confused, I thought Cydia stopped saving blobs...

It's not possible to downgrade an iPhone 5. Besides, the iPhone 5 originally shipped with iOS 6.0, so I don't see how you thought it could be downgraded to iOS 4

Or did you mean the iPhone 4 but typed the number 5 by accident?

    ----------

You probably submitted the blobs when cydia wasn't saving the blobs yet

For example, you can submit 6.1.4/6.1.5 blobs and redsn0w or iFaith will say submitted successfully but because cydia isn't saving them, they won't show up. Same with iOS 7 blobs (if you could even somehow submit them to cydia)

Just use iFaith or redsn0w to submit your locally saved iOS 6.x blobs and after submitting, check in cydia -> TSS center and they should be there

It works on Firefox for me

    ----------

Are you currently jailbroken in iOS 7? If yes, open cydia and press TSS center; what blobs are shown on the top?
