Downgrade original iPhone to lowest OS possible (Nostalgia)

I know I'm about to revive a topic that's been not very much alive any more for a while, but i've been coming into this situation too now. Got my iPhone 4 now and wish to downgrade my iPhone 2G for nostalgic sakes.

I would like to know if the TS eventually was able to successfully downgrade the FW of his 1st gen iPhone down to the earliest one possible. If so, please share your experience with the community.

You are right, my bad. However, it is still true on the apps not working. Most of them won't.

umm.... Duh. 😛

No 3rd party apps will work. The only apps you can run are the ones that came with the phone and web apps. What part of no app store did you not get?
