I’m troubleshooting an issue with my MBA 2020 which shipped with 10.15.4. I’m currently on 10.15.5 and I want to go back to 10.15.4.

I tried erasing the disk and doing an internet recovery, but it installed 10.15.5. Any idea how to get back to the previous version that it shipped with?

Thank you.

Did you make a backup of 10.15.4 before updating to .5? If not, you might be able to erase the drive from Recovery and then download/install the combo update of 10.15.4.

I have all my files in the cloud so I didn’t make a backup, unfortunately.

Do I need to put the combo update on a flash? After I erase the drive I assume I need a bootable USB or something, right?

Try this to get 10.15.4 full installer.
