I am trying to downgrade from iOS 11 to 10.3.3 as Apple is still signing it for the 6s but I have tried three different PC’s and always get the same error which is 1391.
I have downgraded before so I know I am doing it correct, has anyone got an explanation as to why this is happening.

Thanks..

They stopped signing iOS 10.x. That's why it's not working anymore.

I have a spare 6s and so I downloaded the 10.3.3 IPSW for it. Goes through the motions but then iTunes displays a "Failed to authorize this image for this device" box and goes no further.

So it looks like Apple are blocking it even though it is still being signed by them.
Thanks Apple.

no they arnt blocking themselves - they just stopped signing
Again, it seems that they kept on signing it for the 6s while they stopped for other devices. That said, perhaps they stoped signing it for the 6s recently as well (despite some sites reporting that it is still being signed).

If it's not being signed it should say "This device isn't eligible for the requested build".

Either way, Apple is no longer allowing users to install 10.3.3.

Good thing I saw this thread so I didn't try out 11.1.2 on my 6s thinking I could downgrade back to 10.3.3. I kept seeing it as still being signed on ipsw.me and figured all was good if iOS 11 didn't work out. Thank you guys :)

Last time I upgrade straight away. I’m waiting 3-6 months after iOS 12 for Apple get it up to the standard of release software.
