Downgrading from 15" to 13" MBP?

It is easier to use on the plane, but for me, the smaller screen was harder to work on - to each his own but I prefer the larger display :)

it seems the smaller MacBooks account for more of what I see out and about. what do you think the ratio is between 13 vs 15 inch?

No idea, but I'm sure the 13" outsell the 15" For a variety of reasons, including cost, but with that said, I'm looking to get what fits my needs and for me the 15" is a better fit :)

I have been quite happy with my 13 inch Early 2015 MBP. You start feel limitations when you use things like snapping windows, but overall, its sufficient for my needs. I use a Surface Pro 3 which is 12.9 inchs and I am just as productive and I plan to get as 12.9 iPad Pro next year. When I do plan to upgrade my Mac though (which is not anytime soon), I'll definitely be switch to a 15 inch though. I just hope Apple releases one without the discrete GPU.

I thought the issues with the discrete GPU had been solved with the Touch Bar 15 inch.

They might have, but I honestly don't need it. It adds to the cost of the machine and regardless its improved, its likely the first thing to fail requiring an entire logic board replacement $600 to $1000.

I have both sizes and the 15" stays on my desktop. I travel with the 13". Would not want to travel with the 15"; too heavy and large (particularly when traveling by air.)
