Hi, I've currently got a base model 15" rMBP late-2013. I love the machine but I'm about to go back to school and will be biking around a lot with the unit. It's a bit overpowered for my needs, I mainly got it for the extra screen space, which I've been really enjoying, but now that I will be moving around a lot I'm looking to downsize to the 13" rMBP. Just wondering if anyone else has gone this route and found it acceptable, even enjoyable? I owned a 13" before this one but it was non-retina. How is the experience using the new one with the scaled resolutions?

Both scales resolutions are fine. They loose a little clarity but are still better then non retina displays designed for that resolution (ie. I had a air with 1440x900 natively and when I run my 13" rMBP at the scaled 1440 by 900 is still looks way better. I run my rMBP at 1440 by 900 most of the time
