Downgrading from ios 9 to 8 gives me error 3194

I have tried all the solutions with hosts file but nothing helps.
I have tried downgrading on 2 different computers still the same problem on both.
Please help.

According to ipsw.me, 8.4.1 is still being signed.
OP, have you downloaded the right file for your exact device ?

Type "gs.apple.com" into your computer browser and see if it goes to an Apple placeholder page, if so, your host file is correct.

DFU restore, don't just restore too.

Download the correct file, do SHIFT + Restore iPhone and select the .ipsw.

Never mind. I found a 8.4.1 ipsw. Until now i have only tried with 8.4. Will report back
