Downgrading to 6.1.3

Kind of sick of iOS 7 on my iPod. I want to downgrade back to 6.1.3, but what other ways can I do it besides putting my iPod into DFU mode and force restoring it to the latest stable iOS, but still be able to keep all my apps, and pictures? Thanks.

What I did was Shift click restore then pick my ipsw then bam it worked you have to restore your device there's no other way

Shift + click restore in iTunes and choose the .ipsw for 6.1.3.
