I think you can still do that in DFU mode and select the ipsw.

Its all good it worked 🙂 Happy to be rid of iOS 7..but not because new OS's are suppose to be a happy time lol

ATT swapped out my SIM and it did nothing. Told me to take it to Apple. Going at 8. ATT refused to unlock my phone to see if worked until my contract is up.

I dont like the icons! but Im sure I will love the feel more with the animated and 3D effects..but I think that the icons etc.. can look more sophisticated and more "apple"

It just shows the restore when in DFU mode. I think that is for when you are upgrading and not downgrading

The theme looks like a cheap cydia theme. I hate all the gradients and then stencil icons. Ugh.

What happens if you just backup your device before installing iOS 7, then try doing a factory reset/restore backup? Will you be returned to iOS 6? I don't have much experience with downgrading, but it seems like you should be able to return to iOS 6 via the backup.

Probably wouldnt want to find out what happens, I think once you have a new operating system you have to reinstall the older one! I honestly havent tried! But Im assuming it wouldnt work!
