Download 501 using 3G?

Is it possible to download the new 501 update using only a 3 G connection because I don't have wifi at my home, only 3 G? Or is it only available using a wifi connection?



You can only download through Wi-Fi.

Remember, you can still plug the iPad into the computer and update it that way, or you can go into a Starbucks and use their Wi-Fi.

Okay iDuel, thanks for that information. I thought it could not be done using 3G but I just wanted to be sure. I will just plug it into iTunes and update it from there. Thanks 

You can do it indirectly. I downloaded it by tethering the iPad to a Droid Bionic and connecting via Verizon 4G LTE.
