Download Fails

Every time I click download, Lion appears to be downloading for a few minutes then I get an error message that says this, "The application could not be downloaded. Check your internet connection and try again." I'm sure my internet is fine. I tried this several times and I get this message every time! How do I fix this?

Exact same problem here. Could it be server's capacity problem ?

It happened to me too. I then looked in the mac app store and it was downloading there under updates.

Ok problem is solved for my case. It looks like it is not able to do the download if you're under specific internet proxies. Using a direct internet connection worked just fine.
