Hi All,

Looking to download my own ripped movies to the iPad from iTunes. Used to have a download button when looking at
home sharing library. That is gone in the TV app. Any advice would be appreciated. I hate having to plug into the computer.

PS I did do a search but couldn't find an answer.

Thanks!

I would recommend that you install the VLC app to your iPad. VLC will play back almost any media file, and it gives you three ways to transfer media to the app's library: via a cloud service (Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, Box, etc), via a generated URL over Wifi (point browser on your computer to the URL that VLC generates, then upload via browser to iPad), or by connecting a cable and using iTunes' File Sharing interface.
