hey where can i download the full version of Snow leopard and is it better to do it as a iso or dmg as i want it to install it like a propper install disk.

You can't, at least legally. You can try to buy a disk from Apple or a reseller.

SL was never available as a digital download. $29 from Apple

AFAIK you can't legally download SL, but Apple still sells it on DVD for US $29.
