Hi ppl,
Need some help please. Is there a way to download Rosetta onto a USB stick?

My laptop does not have Internet access (because I need rosetta to use my dongle) and I don't have my SL disc with me. Thanks!

Why do you not use the built-in airport card or ethernet port?

Because like i said, my laptop (MBP) does not have access to the Internet. I do however, have access to another office desktop, from which I hope to dl Rosetta

can you bring your computer into where ever that one is and plug the ethernet cable into it? i think that would be the easiest solution

Thought of that. Did that. No luck 🙁
Had a look at apple's website. Nothing there that I can see.

so you plugged in an ethernet cable and it didnt work?! id say you have bigger problems then downloading Rosetta

If this an office setting hooking it up to the ethernet cable wouldn't work as the MBP is not configured for that network... Is it a dial-up dongle you are trying to set up?

i suppose…

i believe the install disk has rosetta on it if you still have it try that first. but i don't see any reason why downloading it onto a usb drive wouldn't work. you could also try going to an internet cafe and downloading it there.
