Has YT changed or tweeked their system to stop the video downloads?

I know it was Activity Window > Look for file

That no longer works... At least for me.

Anyone also having the same problem?

I just right-clicked on the video and got this, which worked:

Are you on Safari?

I'm on Safari and when I right click I don't get the option to download.
 
Sorry, meant Snow Leopard w/ Safari 5.1.2.

I've tried over 10 videos and I do not get the Download option.

Edit: Also trying Jaksta and even that software is not working.
 
Is there something new with youtube? I used to be able to click on the file in activity window. It seems to work better with the hd videos (mp4 files). I noticed there is more trouble with the flv files. Any advices?

Did you try the suggestion in post #4?
 
Everybody probably already knows, but you can just use websites that look up these links for you and make it a clickable URL. I like keepvid.com.

I believe you can also add something to the URL, like

https://www.youtube.com/awesomevideo

to

saveyoutube.com/awesomevideo
