I want to free up some storage on iCloud and iMessages takes up a lot of space. I am wondering if there is a way to download all pictures/videos from message threads and put them on my MacBook locally, and delete them from icloud messages? Most of the important photos I have already saved into my photo library, but I want to eventually go through them again without keeping them in the cloud.
Is there any way to do this? I don't care too much about texts, so even if I have to delete the whole thread after I download attachments, that is fine.
