iPhone Downloading iOS 13 GM getting 'firmware is not compatible'

Hi,

I'm currently stuck in iOS 13.1 beta 3 I want to "upgrade" to iOS 13 Gm, so I download it, and i did the 'option' update thing. However I'm getting the 'firmware is not compatible' error

The .ipsw I have is iPhone11,2,iPhone11,4,iPhone11,6_13.0_17A577_Restore.ipsw :/ Am I doing something wrong? since I intend to get the 11 Pro I don't want to be stuck, would be helpful if someone could tell me if migrator would work from

XS 13.1 -> 11 Pro 13

So, what iPhone do you have?

The image you downloaded is for XS and XS Max but not for XR for example. XR is „iPhone11,8“, iPhone X is „iPhone10,3“ and „iPhone10,6“, ...

Edit: nevermind, you have an XS. Just oversaw that...
Did you try to „upgrade“ normally via iTunes or DFU?

to do that you need to put the phone in DFU first.

Didn’t realize that, yes I have a XS I didn’t put it in DFU mode, I am not restoring just “updating” does that still apply?

Use 3utools and use easy flash with save user data option. The program even has download section where you can download all ios firmware on it including ios 13 GM. That's what I did. Worked great.

Just adding my experience. I upgraded my xs Max from 3.1 beta to 3.0 GM without DFU mode. Just plugged it into itunes in Windows, hit shift update and pointed to the file. Worked perfectly. I noticed others had the same experience. DFU was not needed.

Dude, use 3utools, no need for itunes. Once I started using this program I'm never going back to Itunes for updates and downgrades. Especially betas.

iTunes 12.10 was released yesterday for windows.

Yes you need to use the latest version of iTunes - 12.10.0.7

Yes, but this iTunes self-update (on a Mac) is super quick and simple. I guess it just pulls the stuff over to be better compatible with iOS 13 devices. Just let it go through paces and you will be fine. I did it for my iPhone 7 update with iOS 13 GM IPSW, no issues at all. If you are using Windows, there is a new version of iTunes for it as well.
