I've looked, and can't find anything on how or where to download fonts into ios13. Im sure im missing something, but I cant seem to find it. I see the fonts section in settings, but nothing on the app store, or anywhere else I can see. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can’t do it on the beta.

Can’t do it on the beta.

More specifically, fonts have to be purchased as “apps” in the App Store. You can’t directly side load fonts onto iOS. (Presumably to keep people from installing corrupt font files).

Once it’s publicly out I think there will be a fonts section of the App Store for you to download third-party fonts.

Also, this fonts feature is not gonna be used to change system fonts or to support any sort of customisation.

So where are these fonts going to go, and where are they going to be displayed, if they arent changing any of the system fonts?

Is this actually the case? Reading that page, it appears this is sideloading using a profile and not the new Fonts functionality included in iOS13.
So iOS 13 made it a lot more accessible, and shows it in the settings app. Before it didn’t show. I think iOS 13 also allows apps to install fonts for word processors to use, but they seem to charge, whereas using a profile does the same thing for free (as long as you have the font file).
