MACDRIVE macrumors 68000 Original poster Feb 24, 2008 #1 How can I get PDFs to open in Adobe Reader by default rather than opening in Preview? I only have this problem while using Firefox; when using Safari however, PDFs open in Adobe Reader just fine. 😕

Peace Cancelled Feb 24, 2008 #2 Click on any PDF document and get info. Make sure Adobe PDF Pro is set as default.

mankar4 macrumors 6502a Feb 24, 2008 #4 in ff3b3: firefox--> preferences --> applications. choose PDF, and select "Use with Adobe Reader" It's a little different in ff2, I think you go to preferences, and choose file types and then you can change the default to open with adobe reader.
