I'm trying to run a backup for Photos. It's stuck at "Downloading 10,248". This is out of 14,318 photos and 559 videos.
I've got a Mac Mini (OS 15.6.1) that's wired to my router (wifi disabled) and I'm getting 300-350Mbps.
I've tried pausing and unpausing. I've tried relaunching Photos. I've tried restarting the computer.
There was a note earlier that I was out of disk space. At the time, there was over 30GB on storage on my local disk. I've deleted or moved some items on disk (then restarted the Mac) and now have just over 40GB free.
I'm getting flashbacks of the early days of .me as I sit here waiting for something to sync with no control over it.
Incidentally, it looks like they got rid of the option to view a photo in Finder. I used to use that all the time. Now everything is stored seemingly randomly in Photos.PhotosLibrary.
