    Hello fellow macs.
Am still a newbie at getting MAc around my brain.

I downloaded Yamipod ...(software instead of Itunes). No problems with the download. When I open it it archives itself and can't open it. The icon should come and I should be able to connect my Ipod to it. But nothing happens,

I tried again and again and I have countless icons:eek:
on the desktop and still can't get it to work. Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?
    Thanks in advance.

Countless icons appeared? Could you post screenshots of your problems? It'll give me a better idea of what you're talking about, I'm a tad confused at the moment.

EDIT: Also ask a mod to move this thread to the 'help' forum, I think you might get better replies in there.

and we presume you have a legit download from the developer, not a cracked version?

    issue resolved in the end

That is why I am using Yamipod. I do find Itunes restrictive. I had load of songs (all legal) and could not transfer them to my new Mac. Yamipod is free and easy to navigate.Be careful if you download it there is another programme that is trying to get you to download theirs. It is called Irip. That is a triall version.

You think that you Yamipod but it is not.

By the way everyone. I solved the download problems that I had with Yamipod.. Thks to all:p;)
