Hi, sorry if I have placed this in the wrong place.
Anyway, just got my macbook, and getting used from the switch from windows to mac os x. I downloaded Google Chrome yesterday, and once installed, it kept on appearing on my desktop. I know this is only a minor problem, but it once I boot up my mac, the download folder or something pops up.
Any help?

Thanks in advance:)

you may have not actually installed the program from the .dmg file. common mistake for first time users. just drag the application to the application folder and it should install. Unless there's an installer. once installed you can delete that disk image from the desktop.

Thanks, that worked. I feel like an idiot!
When it kept on doing that, I was annoyed coz I think chrome is somuch better than safari! Thanks again.
