For some files I try to download safari automatically opens the file in quicktime right in the safari window. Is there a way around this where i can just download the file instead? please help...

If it's a link then Ctrl + Click then pick "Download Linked File".

What's so hard about that? 😕

When you download, isn't there an option to either open the file, or save the file to the disk?

I don't use Safari, so maybe not?

right click - save as, or what ever it says, or hold down option(alt) and left click the link 🙂
