I have always owned black iPhones, I really like the way the silver iPhone 6 looks, and now that the iPhone 6s is coming out and the design will be the same I can't make up my mind.

I want to hear some feedback from people who own a silver iPhone 6, reasons why you prefer white over the space gray and also those who didn't like the white and can't wait to go with the space gray. Thanks.

Well, you partially answered yourself "I really like the way the silver iPhone 6 looks."
It may because it has a cleaner look? I think that's why I always get white. Got dh a black, and it somehow didn't look as nice to me.

There hasn't been a black iPhone since the Black/Slate iPhone 5. It's been black front/Space Gray since the 5s.

I own a Space Gray iPhone 6+ by default because Apple killed black with the 5s and Space Gray is as close as Apple will let me get to black. I don't like or want white, silver, gold or any other color except black - but Apple only offers Space Gray so I'm stuck with that.

Space grey just seems odd to me. Its a black front with a darkish sikver back. The 6 in silver looks nuch more nicer in that it looks more seamless from the front to the back. This is my first white phone. However previously i did have a white ipod touch( only because black was not avaliable)

I'm going with Space Gray this year again. I would love to have a Silver iPhone with a black front to match my MacBook Pro and Apple Watch. I'd buy that in a heartbeat, but because Apple only offers the black front on a Space Gray phone, I go with Space Gray every time. If they could make the Space Gray darker, I'd be okay with that too.

The only downsize is the tiny black frame between the display and the while bezel. It is something you notice only when the display is on and I don't find it too disturbing, but its there.
I went for the silver model because I don't like the space grey back. Is not black enough, is only slightly darker than the silver model while I'd like it to be more similar to the iPhone 5's back.
Besides, I really like the white bezel with the flat look of iOS 7, that's why I bought a white iPhone 5 and now I own a silver iPhone 6.

No gold option in the poll?

The only thing that bugs me about the white iPhone 6 is the sliver ring around the home button. I wish it was white or no ring at all.

I had a white/silver iPhone 5 for 2 years, and loved it. Then, just to change it up, I got space gray when I got my iPhone 6, but I've wished I had gotten white/silver for that one too ever since.

I'm hanging on to the space gray until next year for the iPhone 7, though. I keep the 2 year cycle.

I have a SG iPhone 6 Plus but if I had to choose again I'd probably go silver. I do like the seamless look of the black front, but the silver seems a bit more exciting and I like the silver Touch ID ring.

I've mostly had white iPhones, and then with the 6+ I got a Space Gray one because I wanted something different. There is no reason other than personal preference to go with one color over the other so if you really like the way the silver one looks then get it.

Same here. always had iPhones with black front. Like the look of white front, so I have decided to go with white front this time with 6S. Bought the iPad Air with white front and I like it.
Back doesn't matter since I have always had a case on.

All the white phones I have handled look dirty. Gunk gets in the cracks and crevices and it looks bad. What ever you want, get it!

Not my phone though. Then again, I never let people touch my phone ever! :p
Useful to avoid those people who like to swipe left and right in photos :D

I had a white/silver iPhone 5 and was determined to get the space grey iPhone 6. But the launch changed my opinion and I decided to get the silver once I had seen the black offering.

I like the clean look of a white bezel and the fact the little ring around the home button stands out. I think it adds to the aesthetic very nicely. My wife went with gold and I wouldn't have minded that in hindsight but perhaps i'll get a gold iPhone 7? The white also doesn't show up finger marks and maintains a clean appearance IMHO.

White is good ;)

If it's in any worthwhile case, you can't see the color. In that case, just consider resale value.

That's a matter of opinion though. My 6 Plus is in a clear polycarbonate case which to me is totally worthwhile as it protects the back whilst still showing the "silver" colour.

I've gone with a white/silver iPhone 4S and iPhone 6, and intend to keep up the trend (honestly I was a bit interested in the gold color because it looks great without being gaudily "bling", but I ended up going against that for two reasons—one, I think the antenna stripes make the gold look worse on the 6 design, and second as soon as I learned Verizon didn't have a 64GB SKU in stock I threw out that idea in favor of getting my phone sooner.)

The black frame around the display is not something I even notice. I think from a wear-and-tear and basic aesthetic standpoint, as well as jiving with iOS, the lighter color works better.
