There's a difference. Only hard drives use the "ass-backwards" meanings for the giga-, mega-, kilo-, etc prefixes.

I wasn't trying to dissrespect apple or anyone by saying that.

When I was asking questions on these forums before I bought it, many people mentioned that I would be better off to wait, and it dosen't make sence to get a dual 2.0 when the 2.5's are out, and dual core is comming out later this month (so they said).

I was mostly going after the point that I don't care how new or old it is.. it is new to me. Especially when I am more used to a B&W G4 500 (upgraded CPU). my DP G4 Digital Audio was only assembled for 1 week before my G5 came in.

If anything in my collection is outdated, it is my 512k, but that still ends up getting powered on a few times a month!
