Resolved DP -> mDP -> DL-DVI for Apple Cinema Display. Thoughts?

Probably already answered somewhere, but here it goes...

Could I use a Display Port to Mini Display Port and then Apple's active mini-display port to DL-DVI to send a signal to an Apple Cinema Display?

Just wondering if anyone's tried it.

I don't have the active mDP-DL-DVI adapter, but DP-mDP-DVI works with standard DVI.

Just to close out the thread, it does work.

I'm going RX 580 -> DisplayPort to Mini Display Port adapter -> Apple's active Mini Display Port to DL DVI adapter -> 30" Apple Cinema Display.
