Drag and Drop apps from external backup...

Hi there, I just did a full backup to an external of my system which was running tiger. Then erased it all on the computer and installed Leopard. Now I can't find my original ILIFE 08 or OSX disc that came with my comp. Is dragging and dropping say IPHOTO for example possible?
