I'm not sure what you are replying to. What told you it was just a home directory?

The terminal, after I followed your directions. It simply restates the name of my User and the address for the folder in question. Maybe I did something wrong...

Well, I successfully upgraded! Everything seems to be running so much faster now. I didn't realize there would be such a leap in performance.
