iOS Drag and drop tutorial?

Hi all, i'm new to iOS programming and would like to start by creating a simple "fantasy football" app.

Basically what i want to do, is have a grid (10x15) and be able to select "players" from a list and drag them into the respective place in the grid.

Does anyone know if there are some simple tutorials for me to learn about getting the drag and drop process down for iOS? I tried searching and came up empty.
