First, I've spent the last two hours searching here for info on the beach ball but still haven't found my situation or solution.
I have a 24" imac 2.4 Gz and occasionally I would get the dreaded beach ball but nothing major. Then the HD crashed and I had to order and install a new one so I got a 1TB. Install was relatively simple and I had everything backed up on Time Machine. I did a new install of Snow Leopard and uploaded everything from Time Machine. Everything went pretty flawless. All my settings and details were transferred.
Here's the problem. I get the stupid beach ball every time I turn around now. Sometime on line and sometimes playing a game, etc. I have run disc verify, permissions repair, run Onyx to clean up cashe, etc. but nothing seems to help. I have 6 mb of RAM and the Activity monitor shows plenty of open space . Activity Monitor also shows no unusual drain anyplace that I can see. Any suggestions???
Thanks
Barry
