    Good afternoon,

    Usually i work with Databases.

On my next work i have make a program to connect to a Mysql database.

So, working with Mac and MySql what is the driver's definition for making the
connection with the database supossing this database will be located on my localhost in the folder /MyDB .... :apple:

Is it "com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" as in Windows ?

I am not shure about it...

    Thanks in advance.

If you're using Java, it's the same driver you use on Windows. If you're using Objective-C, you can use the C library. Note that the C library is GPL and that has a significant impact on how you license your software, so make sure your boss knows about it.

i am using Java and JavaFx. I am trying both languages and IDE's.

As i mentioned, with Java i think there will be no problem to this project

What concerns JavaFX i started 2 days ago with it, so it has more problems to solve at this time bith with the IDE as well with the final aproach to databases... But i think i will get there...

    Thanks for your prompt reply.:)
