Drivers for Radeon HD 4870

I have a Radeon HD 4870 with 1024 MB framebuffer size in my Mac Pro.

Having noticed screenshots with kind of an ATI Control Panel in System Preferences I was wondering if there are special drivers for this card or for ATI cards in general.
