I have a drobo 2 nd gen. with there terrible support and lack of driver updates it's not the product of redundancy I thought it would be. it's more of a paperweight now more than anything. stupid thing still has FireWire 800 issues ever since lion came out and yes I have all the most recent firmware/ software.
