Looks like by the video, the person is holding the phone in an unnatural way, that is, not holding it a normal way when making/receiving calls.

i like how you are posting defending the droid on every post.. the differance here is that their are a lot of android devices that are on different OS and don't update whereas the iphone updates all of them

iPhone4 IS the only one suffering from its issue. Other phones have to actually be gripped to lose signal. ip4 dies with a touch:

Sorry, not the same issue at all. Just similar end results. Important distinction, as the iphone issue is the one and only.

Maybe not but that is Apple's EOL for the first-gen iPhone. New Android phones are being released with 1.5 with no plans on going to 2.1 or 2.2. That's fragmentation. There is a difference between ending support for a device and putting out a new one with an older OS.

Apple has never sold four generations of the OS on different handsets at the same time.

I agree entirely, Android is horribly fragmented now. That said, supposedly 3.0 will end that.

That said, I'm a bigger fan of iOS, but that's because I've set up my own apple ecosystem at home and its not worth switching to anything else. Everything I own plays nice 🙂

yeh i wouldnt know either, as i dont own an iPhone. but i helped a friend setup tethering to a PC yesterday. it worked a charm 🙂

For the love of...if I wanted to read about every friggin phone on the planet, I'd go to howardforums. Do people post "uh oh, looks like the Toshiba Lapnet 5000 is is overheating!" on the MacBook forum? No. No they don't. Until Android makes their GUI not look like something a 13 year old boy put together on MS Paint, not interested. Don't know why its fans are so rabid. But then again, our good old fanboys are pretty annoying as well.

Its only an issue on the most popular phone in the market. If apple didnt tell people where the antenna was this would not be a problem.
