So I have the Motorola Droid as of right now and I've loved it so far, but I'm an Apple boy at heart and I just can't deal with not having an iPhone anymore. The Android platform has serious issues that are nonexistent on the iPhone such as phone lag due to programs never closing in the background, and a poorly designed and counter-intuitive OS. Anyway, the two major reasons I got the Droid were: 1. Google Maps with built in Navigation - this feature is AWESOME. A free and very competent turn-by-turn GPS system consolidates 2 devices into 1 and saves $$$. 2. Google Voice: this feature is even more awesome. Basically free voice calls because it doesn't use Verizon's minutes, along with transcribed voicemail. So if I move to the iPhone, what are my options in terms of these two departments? I know GVoice isn't available (officially) on the iPhone, but is there a jailbroken app that allows this? And what are the options for (free) navigation apps that compare with Google maps? Thanks guys!
