i mean, im used to having all of my documents in my document folder, and i would like that the dropbox folder that is used for the service is actually my documents folder, since all i will be using it is for documents

Are you referring to https://www.dropbox.com/ or to the Drop Box folder that is part of OS X? Your original post contains both "drop box" and "dropbox".

You could simply move your Dropbox folder to within your Documents folder. Do this from from Drobox preferences and not by dragging the folder.

You can also then change your Finder preferences so that new Finder windows open Dropbox instead of Documents.

sorry for not being clear, i meant the drop box folder.

also, how does the syncing the folders work?
