My trackpad and click pad are working fine, unless I ask them to pull down a menu. For example, if I scroll over the File menu in Safari, nothing drops down. I first noticed the problem while checking my email. I wanted to view a previous email, but when I clicked for that message, it wouldn't drop down. Clicking anywhere else worked fine. Now I am having the same problem with drop down menus. Anyone have advice?

Go into disk utility, first aid, repair disk permissions, and then verify your disk. Then restart. See if that fixes it. I had an issue where my finder wouldn't open, and that worked.
