I have been using the Dropbox desktop app for some time, but recently I noticed (after upgrading to Mavericks) that my folders are not syncing in real time. Sometimes it takes up to a day for my local files to properly update. Any idea why this might be happening?

That makes two of us. I have already sent in feedback/bug report on this very issue. I am wondering if it has something to do with Sync services. I don't know for sure but I am just taking a guess at this point.

But mine is doing the same thing. Have you also noticed that if you delete something from the dropbox folder (for me it was images) that the image will stay there but with the name of the next item in the list. If you click it open that it will show the original item, but the thumbnail is the item you deleted.

I have not been able to get it to sync like it was doing in ML. I would suggest also putting in a bug report with them.

I just received an email from dropbox support regarding my bug ticket. They released an update 2.4.6. I have not tried it yet as I just got the email. But it states this update should fix the problem we were seeing.
