Hi folks,

I have a Dropbox question.

Context:

• We use Dropbox Business at work. There's more than 100 GB of shared files in the cloud.

• We are based in South Africa, where data is slow and expensive.

Question:

• Rather than synching more than 100 GB from the Dropbox cloud to my mac, is there a way to copy the files locally using a harddrive? How do I make sure this is not regarded as a separate folder by Dropbox?

Thanks!

Thijs

In the Dropbox preferences you can set to to sync over WiFi.

All users must have this enabled though & DB still requires an internet connection to know when to do it, but all the file transfer will happen over the internal network as long as all devices are on the same subnet.
