Haha, I knew someone would ask this! It was an Ultimate Long Island Iced Tea at TGI Friday's.
Leave it off and don't even attempt to turn it on until it is fully dried which can take days at ambient room temp.Anything else I can do to try and make it survive?
Typing this from my phone, so glad to have my baby back and amazing that it can survive a full dip in water. I still don't understand why I don't have a water sensor in my sim tray though...

I think your phone should be fine even without all the right precautions and remedys you took. iPhone 4 through 5 are pretty compact that a second in water shouldn't effect it
