Forget what the others are saying. Call 1800MYAPPLE and say u messed up your phone pretty bad, and ask what can you possibly do about it. Tell them the entire sad story. They will "repair" it free of charge, which traditionally means give u a new iphone. I did that with a miniscule dent and now have a new iphone costing me nothing. The dent was painful, but if I had your scratches i wouldnt even be able to look at the thing.
