I think the phone looks far better than any case. Just my opinion, but yeah - why cover it up? Just be careful and/or get AC+ in case of accidents.

Personally I don’t care about looks when it comes to a phone, aesthetics are the last thing on my mind.

Why cover it up? It only takes one drop to ruin your $1,000 glass phone. Even if Apple care covers it you still have to go through the hassle of getting it repaired

I never use cases. I carry my iPhones naked all the time, but if you’re going to do that, like others have said, you have to be REALLY cautious about how you carry and in what circumstances you handle your phone.

Jacket pockets are a no-go for me. Same for the wind pants, athletic shorts pockets, etc.

Fingers crossed. I actually hate that Clear Case. It gets oily and fingerprints all over it. It scratches easily as well.

I wish one day they’d actually make a screen out of a more scratch resistant material like sapphire. However the glass on this iPhone is quite scratch resistant as my unfortunate experience can tell.
My guess is sapphire would increase the cost It is much more scratch resistant but, shatters easier than the current material. That’s been proven by the Apple Watch screens ion glass vs sapphire.

OtterBox Defender for life.
I can’t imagine putting one of them on an already huge iPhone plus or Pro max size model iPhone.

With AppleCare you can get an express replacement overnight.

That is a plus but still who wants to deal with that????

Nobody “wants” to deal with it. It’s just an option for added protection available to people who’d rather not have cases.

Odds are that you’re probably not going to drop your phone and break it, so most people never need to file an Apple Care claim on any given iPhone.

Personally, I don’t use cases and I don’t buy Apple Care. Since 2007, I’ve only broken one screen.
