So I just accidentally dropped my 7 in zink, it was in for almost 15 seconds. I can't detect any damage, but I've seen videos where water eventually gets into the display after some time. Should I be worried?

Dropped your iPhone in zinc?

Wow it has some good awesome protection when liquid zinc is 800+ degrees Celsius.

Sorry I had to, I work in a galvanization plant.

;)

I think the real reason is that you wanted to test your new iphone water resistance. and justify your purchase?

It really does not matter for the port. You can connect it underwater and it will still charge as normal.

I would hope the OP and anyone else viewing your post would not take you seriously. Did you really just suggest for someone to try plugging in their iPhone while it is underwater? If a child saw that post, it could possible kill them. You're an idiot.

Is this post for real? The iPhone 7 and 7+ are being marketed as WATER RESISTANT. I'm not really sure why anyone would be worried about dropping a WATER RESISTANT phone in the sink for 15 seconds. SMH

Where is the water indicator in the ip7? is it covered up with the water resistant stuff? (other than that) I'm sure your iphone is fine!
