:( dropped my ipad 3 inches and the power button is bent/broken :(

I don't know why anybody wouldn't invest $50 for a all encompassing case for their iPad.
It's not a matter f IF you drop it, it's a matter of when.

Ante smart cover it's Ed is an accident waiting to happen.
 
I'm so glad I bought the $70 (after 30% discount) SquareTrade warranty with accidental damage protection for my iPad 2. Well worth the cost in these instances.
