On the iphone we all know that when photos were synced from your computer to your iphone, they were resized or whatever to fit on the screen. Thus reducing the overall image quality, etc. On the iPad do you guys think it will be the same? I want to be able to upload photos on the go using the SD card attachment but if the original images are buffered down, that would suck.

Apple really didn't go into any detail about these things, it's a shame. I'm assuming the built in iPhoto has an importer that will come up when it senses an SD card/camera or something like that. Giving you the option to delete the photos after import maybe? Lol who knows, Apple will probably release a statement down the line anyway, addressing some frequently asked questions anyway

Also, I normally shoot in RAW but hell, the iPad probably doesn't have .nef support anyway. Have to go back to shooting in .jpeg

I have the same question. I could use the Ipad if it worked as a photo viewer, but I'd need it to handle raw files. I think it would be awesome to run a toned down version of aperture/photoshop. I could see myself loading photos on site, quickly doing a few adjustments/reshoot, and sync when I get home. that'd be awesome. It would be more awesome if I could run canon's eos utility, and connect directly to my cam.

    RAW + jpeg ;)

I'm hoping for a mobile Aperture or similar. :)

I'm sold if mobile aperture is added to it.
