Hi,

I'm considering buying a new cinema display from Apple. Should I go buy a 23" display, or spend a little more for dual 20" displays. What setup would be best?

Thanks for your help

Dual 20" it will have a lot more realestate. 🙂

What kind of Mac do you have?

I was going to buy the screen(s) when I buy my Powermac, buts thats when dual 3ghz come out, im planning on getting ati x800xt anyway, so powering isn't really an issue

Apple has had some problems with the 23" so get the dual 20" for $1998.00 or the 30" for $2999.00.

I'v got a hi-def tv, but as i live in the uk its pretty useless at the moment, because hi-def broadcasting starts in 2006. Whats the quality increase between the normal 20"s and the 23" in hi-def? Is it significant?

It depends on what you are looking at. Have you ever seen HDTV. 😀

well i own a HDTV as i said, and yes, I may have seen HDTV , as I've watched DVD's on it, does that count? otherwise no I don't know what HDTV is like.

Sorry. 😱

If you watch movies on your Mac it will be hi-def and so will any thing else that is formatted for hi-def. 🙂

And yes it counts. 🙂
