Thanks for the update. I haven't seen anything out yet regarding the Macbook's and video card comparisons. Will keep looking and post back if I find anything.
I waited for awhile to update my Macbook Pro as well. Bought one right after the latest revision and ordered the 24" display from the refurbished site. Haven't found any problems with it at all and would order again from the site.
I don't "need" the extra display right now so I haven't pulled the trigger on another display and the DP from Matrox. Wish they would update their site to state that it works as you and I hope it works. I can dream
