DUAL 450's Cheap????

I'd like to maybe resolve some unfinished ebay business. I have a Dual 450, 1 GB of Ram, 40GB Hd, DVD Rom, 2 Rage 128 Monitor Cards(1 AGP, 1 PCI), and 1 PCI SCSI Card loaded up on this baby. I mean come on! This baby rocks.

I called Apple today (1/14/02) and discussed possibly getting a new imac. The engineer said to me, don't be an idiot! The Dual 450 will outperform any Mac out there except for the Dual 800. They said If I was to upgrade, I'd be best waiting for the G5's to come out. Sounds like they WILL BE OUT IN MARCH IN TOKYO.

So anyhow, is $1500 too much to ask for my Dual 450 Beast?

Yes. Because it is used. It is a computer. The specs are nice, but not exceptional. The G5's will be out soon.

I'd say maybe $1400. Every Mac lists the DP G4 450 value at $1250 to $1550.

Include a monitor and maybe you could get $1600 or so for it?

As soon as the G5's hit I'll be selling my G4 400 to my dad's office for $1500. That includes 1GB RAM, 17" studio display, new keyboard and optical mouse, and 12x10x32 QPS Firewire CD-RW. I'd say that's pretty decent.

Also $1600 on ebay for a Dual 450 G4 !!! I think your decimal point is in the wrong place should be $160.00.
