I heard that running games on bootcamp would heat up the macbook pro more and not run as efficiently as to say running from the native OSX. Is this true because it is very hard to find some of my favorite games for OSX heh.
 
boot camp is def a must for gaming. i do notice the mbp gets a bit hotter than usual tho.
 
OSX is more aggressive with power and thermals. Apple could do something similar in Windows but I guess they didn't bother. If you run the same game in OSX (ported from Windows) and compare it to bootcamp, you'll notice it running much faster in bootcamp.
