The Mac Mini is connected via Thunderbolt to a seagate dual port thunderbolt drive. The Dell U2711 is connected to the Seagate via the 2nd Thunderbolt port using a MiniDisplayport to Displayport connector. I am then using the HDMI port on the back of the Mini to an LG Flatron M2760
For some reason, whenever I try to set-up dual screens, at some point, the Dell U2711 will all of a sudden just go to sleep. The second display will remain and be active, but the Dell will not show video. The only way to get it back is to reboot.
I initially thought it was a bad cable, but i have since replaced it and the issue remains.
Any ideas are appreciated
